To ensure that Non Destructive Testing (NDT) is carried out effectively training courses are devised so that the candidates carry out their inspections to the correct standard.

The American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) has recognised the requirement and developed the three levels of training to match other NDT technologies. The specification for the training was promulgated by the ASNT Laser Methods committee for the Technical and Education Committee. From there the specification is printed in the CP 105. . This specification has been harmonised into NAS410 and therefore meets EN4179 certification

The training and examination give the student both theoretical and practical knowledge so that they can be certified in accordance with their companies own Written Practice. The training courses have flexibility so they can be be steered towards their companies specific requirements, depending on their equipment or inspection sector specialization ie aerospace or marine.

We have developed the training courses after many years of instruction of Laser Shearography to technicians and NDT operators in the United States, United Kingdom,& Sweden, with students from companies such as NASA, Boeing, United Space Alliance, Lockheed Martin, CSM (Sweden) and the Royal Air Force.

The courses are based on the standard 40 hours or longer iaw EN 4179 and CAP747 GR23 rulings, with a high proportion of hands-on guided practical inspection
